# How to trigger based on number of pages visited

> Show notifications after a visitor has browsed multiple pages.

You can set a notification to appear only after a visitor has viewed a certain number of pages on your website.

## Steps

1. Open your notification settings
2. Find the **Targeting** section
3. Add a **Pages viewed** rule
4. Set the minimum number (e.g., 3 pages)
5. Save

## Why use page count targeting

A visitor who has viewed 3+ pages is actively browsing. They are comparing rooms, checking rates, or reading about your hotel. This is the right moment to show a conversion-focused notification.

## Recommended settings

* **2 pages**: light engagement, good for awareness offers
* **3-4 pages**: solid engagement, good for discount offers
* **5+ pages**: high engagement, good for urgency ("Your dates are popular")
