# Create a notification

> Build and customize notifications for your hotel website.

## Create from template

The fastest way to create a notification:

1. Go to **Templates** in the sidebar.
2. Browse the available templates.
3. Click **Use this template**.
4. Select the property where you want to add it.
5. Customize the text, colors, and settings.
6. Enable it.

## Create from scratch

1. Go to your property page.
2. Click **Create notification**.
3. Choose a notification type:
   * **Button Modal**: popup with a CTA button.
   * **Collector Modal**: popup with an email input.
   * **Coupon Bar**: top bar with a discount code.
   * **Collector Bar**: top bar with an email input.
4. Configure the notification settings.

## Notification settings

### Content

| Field           | Description                                       |
| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------- |
| **Title**       | Main headline. Keep it short and action-oriented. |
| **Description** | Supporting text. Explain the offer or value.      |
| **Button text** | CTA label (e.g. "Book Now", "Get 15% Off").       |
| **Button URL**  | Where the button links to (your booking page).    |
| **Image**       | Optional background or header image.              |
| **Coupon code** | For coupon bars. The code guests will copy.       |

### Design

| Field             | Description                                                 |

| **Colors**        | Background, text, button, and border colors.                |
| **Border radius** | Rounded or sharp corners.                                   |
| **Shadow**        | Drop shadow intensity.                                      |
| **Position**      | Where on the screen it appears (center, bottom-right, top). |

### Trigger

| **Exit intent**  | When the cursor moves toward the close button |
| **Scroll depth** | After scrolling X% of the page                |

### Display rules

| Rule              | Description                                                      |
| ----------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Frequency**     | How often the same visitor sees it (once, every session, always) |
| **Duration**      | How long the notification stays visible                          |
| **Device**        | Desktop, mobile, or both                                         |
| **URL targeting** | Show only on specific pages                                      |

## Best practices

* **One clear offer per notification.** Don't combine multiple offers.
* **Short titles.** 5-8 words maximum.
* **Strong CTA.** "Book Direct and Save 15%" beats "Click Here".
* **Test variants.** Create 2-3 versions and let A/B testing find the winner.
