By default, TinyBell shows each notification once per visitor session. If the visitor closes the notification, it will not appear again during that session.

Session behavior

  • A session starts when the visitor opens your website
  • A session ends when they close the browser or after 30 minutes of inactivity
  • On the next session, the notification can appear again

Frequency settings

You can adjust the frequency in your notification settings:
  • Once per session (default): shows once, resets when the session expires
  • Once per day: shows once every 24 hours
  • Once ever: shows only the first time the visitor comes to your site
  • Always: shows on every page load (not recommended)

Recommendation

For most hotel offers, “once per session” works best. It gives visitors a chance to see your offer without being annoying. For exit intent notifications, use “once ever” to avoid repeat popups.
