You can configure any notification to appear only on mobile, only on desktop, or on all devices.

Steps

  1. Open your notification settings
  2. Find the Targeting section
  3. Look for the Device rule
  4. Select: All devices, Mobile only, Desktop only, or Tablet only
  5. Save

When to use device targeting

  • Mobile only: show a “Call to book” notification with a phone number
  • Desktop only: show a detailed comparison table or multi-image popup
  • All devices: for general offers like “10% off direct bookings”

Tip

Create 2 versions of the same offer: one optimized for mobile (shorter text, bigger button) and one for desktop (more detail, image). Use device targeting to show the right version.
